Spicy gram flour cakes served with spicy soya & green pea blend.
Ingredients
- Gram flour 250 gm
- Curd 100 gm
- Carom seed 5 gm
- Cumin seeds 5 gm
- Corriander seeds 5 gm
- Kasoorimethi 5 gm
- Salt 15 gm
- Fennel seeds 5 gm
- Turmeric powder 2 gm
- Yellow chilli powder 10 gm
- Oil 50 ml
- Semolina 50 gm
- Kadhi 100 gm
- Deghimirch 2 gm
- Mustard seeds 5 gm
- Fenugreek seeds 5 gm
- Asafoetida 5 gm
- Plantain chip 1 no.
- Keema mutter
- Garlic (chopped) 5 gm
- Tomatoes chopped 10 gm
- Green peas 20 gm
- Cumin seeds 5 gm
- Coriander seeds 5 gm
- salt 15 gm salt 1 gm
- Turmeric powder 10 gm
- Coriander powder 3 gm
- Mint (chopped) 5 gm
- Lemon juice 5 ml
For Gravy
- Gram flour 20 gm
- yoghurt (beaten) 15 gm
- Coriander powder 3 gm
- Turmeric powder 2 gm
- Deghimirch 5 gm
- Yellow chilli powder 3 gm
- Refined oil 10 ml
Methods of preparation
For cakes:-
1) Take a bowl, put in the gram flour, whole spices(carom seeds, cumin seeds, coriander seeds, fennel seeds, asafoetida, salt, turmeric, kasoorimethi&yoghurt 2) shape them in small patties (round) crumb it with semolina and now shallow fry the cakes.
For Keema mutter:-
1) Heat oil in a heavy bottomed pan.
2) Add chopped garlic, cook until golden brown. Add chopped tomatoes and saute until tomatoes are cooked through.
3) Add green peas, sauté for 3 mins on medium heat.
Add cumin seeds, crushed coriander seeds, salt, and turmeric powder, coriander powder, and chopped mint, sauté.
Add lemon juice.
For gravy:-
1) Mix gram flour (besan) to the beaten yoghurt, add coriander powder, turmeric powder, a pinch of deghimirch, yellow chili powder. Mix well.
2) Heat oil in the heavy bottomed pan, add the mustard seeds, sauté until it crackles. Add the yoghurt mixture to it. Check seasoning. Bring it to boil.
3) Served as shown in picture with gravy and garnishes crispy fried plantain chips
